Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Clerk
Qualifications/Education Desired:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three years or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more frequently
- Standing or walking for long periods

Job Duties:
- Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments have the appropriate documentation per DOT and customer requirements.
- Follow shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements.
- Assembles and prepares orders for shipment.
- Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet requirements.
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with manager to rectify damages and shortages.
- Sort/consolidate items on shelves or in bins.
- Maintain warehouse and work area organization and cleanliness
- Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return.
- Provides additional backup support for packing and production departments
- Maintains scanning and counting accurately
- Cycle counting
